Speaker cleaner: clean your phone speaker with sound
The speaker’s sound is reduced due to water or dust getting into the speaker of your mobile. This free speaker cleaner removes the water or dust through sound vibrations. To do this, play the following sound. There is no need to install any app.

How to use the speaker cleaner
-
Disconnect headphones
If you have headphones on, remove them so that the sound plays directly through the mobile speaker.
-
Raise the volume
Keep the volume of your mobile phone at 80 to 90%. The more vibrations there are, the faster the dust or water in your mobile phone will come out through the speaker.
-
Point the speaker down
Place the phone so that its speaker faces the ground, so that dust or water released due to vibrations does not go back inside the speaker.
-
Play the tone, then wipe
Run the sound cycle completely, then wipe the speaker clean with a dry microfiber cloth. If the sound still seems muffled, run the sound cycle again.
Which speaker cleaning sound to use
Dust
Sound from 100 Hz to 500 Hz helps remove dust from the mesh on the mobile speaker. This is especially useful for correcting muffled sound.
Water
A pulsed 165 Hz tone helps to remove water droplets from your mobile phone’s speaker. Use this sound frequency when your mobile phone has been exposed to water.
Deep clean
Sound from 60 Hz to 2 kHz combines both modes. It is slower and more thorough, so use it when the other two modes have not fully worked.
Still muffled?
If you are still not getting any sound from your mobile phone’s speaker despite trying all the solutions, then there is a possibility that your speaker is faulty. In such a case, you should take your phone to a mobile repair shop.
Why the cleaning sound removes dust and water
There is a small diaphragm in the phone’s speaker that produces sound by moving back and forth. When a low-frequency tone is played, this diaphragm moves more and pushes air out.
As the air is pushed out, any dust or water droplets in the speaker are also pushed out. This method is also used in smartwatches. A low-pitched tone is played to expel the water that has entered the speaker, which helps to get all the water out.
The above tool can help remove dust or water from the speaker, but this tool cannot fix it if the speaker is physically damaged or has a software problem.

Common questions
Is this safe for my phone?
Yes, this tone is normal for your mobile, so it does not have any adverse effect on your mobile’s speaker. Your mobile’s speaker already has the ability to handle the frequency in this tone, so it is all safe.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It runs in your browser, so it works on iPhone, Android, tablets and laptops. No app or download is needed. On iPhone, make sure the silent switch is off before you start.
How many times should I run it?
Running this tone once or twice is usually enough. Wipe the speaker with a clean dry cloth between runs, so the loosened dust is removed instead of settling back in. If it makes no difference after three runs, the problem is unlikely to be dust.
Can it damage my hearing?
This tone will not have any adverse effect on your hearing. Always hold the mobile away from your ear while playing this tone. If you are bothered by this sound, reduce the volume.
My speaker got wet. What should I do first?
If your speaker gets wet, don’t panic. First, wipe the phone thoroughly with a dry microfiber cloth. The most important thing is to never use a hair dryer on the phone or put the phone in rice, because heat and forced air can push the moisture deeper inside and damage it further. After wiping the phone with a clean cloth, turn on the tone above to help remove any water droplets from the speaker.
Is it free?
Yes, completely. There is no sign-up, no download and no limit on how many times you use it.
